Wayne Osmond, of The Osmonds, Dead at 73

Wayne Osmond, brother of Donny and Marie Osmond, and known for his baritone contribution to the family's band, The Osmonds, has died. Donny and his brother, Merrill, confirmed Wayne's death on social media, saying the singer died at a Salt Lake City hospital following a 'massive stroke.' He was 73 years old.

My heart is broken, I have been an Osmond fan for 55 years. Every time I see old videos of them, it always brings tears to my eyes, as did this one. They were such a huge part of my teenage years as well as still today. They are like family to me and so many of their fans

I was just watching the Osmond Brothers on Andy Williams' 1966 Christmas Special over Christmas. They were so young and so talented. RIP Wayne and condolences to all the Osmonds.

RIP Wayne! I saw the Osmonds performed on many occassions, and had the opportunity to meet them all several times, and having seen hundreds of concerts over the course of my life, everyone from KISS, Van Halen and Rush to Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn, nobody appeared to truly enjoy performing as much as Wayne. He was truly a nice man!
