John Calvin's sermons are some of the very best I've read, and his pastoral love breaks through in each one, and after years of perusing them I've become a particular 7th day baptist doctrinally, as only his sermons on the 4th commandment, without explanation, went from sabbath to sunday. Since then I've found early Christians continued observing the 7th day and also began calling the 1st day the Lord's day, from Jn.5:23, honoring 'the Resurrection and the Life', that is, the Son which deserves so much 'more honor than the house' (Heb.3:3, 4, 6) or qualified elders deserving 'double honor' (1Tim.5:17) realizing that The seventh day signifies so much more than men today see (Gen.2:3, Eccl.3:14, Ps.119:160, Heb.4:4), as it still points to God's eternal day and everlasting rest, as well as other truths overlooked today.

Dear @Banner of Truth,
What was the name that he said? The person that wrote his words in shorthand?

Greetings, Joshua from Amsterdam
