Three weeks after a six-year-old shot his teacher, students from a Newport News elementary school are now returning to class. NBC News’ Catie Beck has more details on the school district’s administrative changes.

Did they fire the administration at that school too? The video said “they are no longer at the school.” That’s not very clear, I know admin gets moved around the district so I hope they actually got fired

So many mistakes here. If the child suffers from an “acute disability, ” he should have an aide with him at all times when in the general classroom. I also think that backpacks should remain in lockers or hung up throughout the day. I grew up in school post columbine, and I was never allowed to bring a backpack into a classroom, until college.

If parents cannot help their kids to adjust in school maybe a hospital setting can help them! SIX Year old taking a gun to school should not happen. The parents should be held accountable.
