Children’s Books Spotlight Series Ep. #165: Ednar Jacques | The Moon Knows Lily

Childhood is a very impressionable time for children. The way parents interact with them during these formative years will have an impact on how they treat themselves and others as they grow up. 👦🏿👦🏽👦🙏🏻👧👧🏽👧🏿

And so, the first lesson we need to teach our children is that they are seen, heard, and loved. When children feel seen, they will develop a healthy measure of self-esteem and worthiness. When children feel heard, they will be able to express themselves honestly and with dignity. When children feel loved, they will have a sense of security and safety within their environment. 💛

And so, one of fellow neighbors is here to help children remember that when they feel alone and scared, all they need to do is look up to the skies above. 🌝
