What's funny to me is when people look at things like this, an artist just slinging a piece of charcoal or a pencil across the paper. How an image is just shows up quickly and with ease, they are lost, confused or just feeling hopeless about doing this themselves.
As an experienced artist I see his movements and can even see how I can mimic and recreate. This one is more skilled than me so it would only be so good.
The thing is, with all things time and effort will supply you with what you need. If you want to get good at something, then do it. Keep doing it and eventually you get good. And love the process.

I'm 58. When I was a boy I would draw all the time. As I got older I became frustrated because is couldn't draw well. I haven't drawn in probably 40 years. Desire was eclipsed by lack of talent I guess.

This is crazy awesome to me. I have to sketch mine out first and sketch so many details before I’m confident enough to shade. Especially with charcoal. And I’m not sure if you use references but I ALWAYS have to have one I’m a reference artist saddly. 😭 I hate being copycat off a reference, but I love art ❤️

This is amazing on an asmr and artist front, this is like visual asmr for me on an extreme front, over analyzing your techniques and the way I do things is so much fun, and the way you do it is so fun for me to watch, it's calming, and the sounds are amazing, some of the sounds are pretty rough on me. But that just comes with asmr I guess!
