My family had a Ford freestyle when I was younger.I loved how awesome the car was and my brother and I always wanted to sit in the third row. I loved the features and we enjoyed it a lot! Good memories and a great vehicle.

I have an '06 Freestyle and it is one of the best cars I have owned, it holds a lot and you can carry so much in it. I have taken it on may vacations and have carried 7 adults in it with no issues. There is nothing on the road today that can do so much as this car can. Why ford didn't advertise this great car who knows. One great vehicle, love it.

I purchased a used 2007 limited with @245K Miles on it for $600. at the time it didn't have working power steering, but I knew I could fix that, it was a $25 fix with @2hrs. of work (I did myself 😎).
with new plugs, coils, tranny fluid/filters and oil/filter.. it drives like a new car. so smooth, so nice 👍, I think I might love this car lol.

Have a 2007 Freestyle and first Transmission went out at 52000 miles. It was covered under warranty. 2nd tranny went out at 102000 miles and had it rebuilt that was $ 2800 at the Dealer it took 2 months to get the parts and have it repaired. Currently at 149000 miles and running well.

I love this car. I got it from my grandparents. Almost 196, 000 miles on it. The only thing I have to complain about is I don’t have a USB port for my phone.

Lovely looking car. I've always found the Ford Freestyle more attractive than the Infiniti cars built around the same time, including the Infinitis in the background. I also find it more attractive than the Ford Flex that replaced it. I'd buy a Freestyle if I were in the market to buy a used car.

I wouldn't give you 500 bucks for a Freestyle.
I have a 2006 model and have had to repair the ac, Replace the throttle body, have an instrument panel problem, replace the starter motor and have all the engine mounts replaced at a cost of 1700 bucks.

I like my 07 freestyle. Good ride, comfy leather seats, starts every time, plenty of room inside, easy to park. Just one thing the cvt won't work in weather below 32, otherwise works ok, so I use my other car when its cold.

The Ford Freestyle was developed in Australia and is marketed as a Ford Territory and is based on the smaller Ford Falcon which is developed and Made in Melbourne Australia. As I understand from my Ford dealer  the Territory being so successful the drawings were sent to Detroit for manufacture in the US thus the Ford Freestyle. I own a Ford territory the best car I have ever had.   John Hutchinson

My aunt had a ford freestyle that thing omg it got beaten by her keep going to snow banks lol but everything is alright the the only thing that is wrong with it is the rockets were gone but that's her fault but another down fall of the freestyle is that when she needed new tires she needed to order a specific size from the factory so it can fit the rim but other than that it's a great car love the gas mileage on the car the sound system it's self in it is great. With the DVD system in it I can either play a joystick game in while we go on long car rides or I can also play my own music on my phone with the left and right audio put with out me putting an aftermarket system in it

I had to pay $6K for a new transmission with only 28K miles on my 2005 Freestyle. There was only a 3 yr. warranty and of chose I was in my 4th year. You would think the strongest part of the vehicle would be the transmission.   Edmunds.com has a lot of other screwed owners on it and there was a lawsuit but it never went anywhere as far as I know.  And another kick in the ass is  that the replacement trans is a rebuilt!!!  FORD IS A FOUR LETTER WORD, BUY JAPANESE!!!!

The CVT's were "junk" because too many people who serviced the transmissions didn't know that you have to use a very specific fluid for the CVT. If you use the wrong fluid, it will kill the transmission beyond repair. People would take these cars into places like jiffy lube who's technicians aren't trained or versed on new technologies.
