I like how your advice ranged from the little details of hitchhiking to why you won't get enlightened with hitchhiking. Haha nice!

How dare you insult trail mix. If anything, thats ALL you need! But these tips are legit, I've been utilizing some form of them since I started hitching. Im usually not crazy skeptical about people, but I grew up in NYC, and I feel like my bullshit meter is pretty good. I have turned down rides, though.

One last thing, your average wait time is amazing. Most people do have to wait hours, at least at times. Its just part of the game though.

I have logged nearly 10, 0000 km hitchhiking across Canada and I think you are VERY wrong when you say that it is not an enlightening experience because it most definitely can be.

What on earth were you on when you recorded this?? My god, man, put down the pipe for at least three hours before you make a video. And as far as your "tips" go, most of what you said was inexperienced balderdash with the exception of telling people to trust their gut before accepting a ride. I should know, I have spent the last 24 years, yeah that's twenty-four, hitchhiking all over North America. You want to read a good list of
valid tips? Then go to my blog, "Hitchhiking 101" on blogger...just google my name and
the blog title. Also, if you want to read about what my life has been like on the road,
check out "Ruthie In The Sky." That is my main blog and I've been posting in it for over
ten years.
