I saw a video of someone waiting for it to fall asleep then lighting a campfire underneath it, then wait till its health bar is low and throw a ball on its back & thats it.😂

Wow this is amazing. Wanna know a secret to catch Jetragon? Capture 4 froststallion and send them out to fight him till his health is low. Then Throw legendary spheres until you catch it. If it breaks out throw another one until it works

Another way of fighting him as a lower level is if you have a vanwyrm. Mammorests have good grounded attacks but very slow ranged attacks. So you can just fly up in the air and bomb him with fire attacks from the air and dodging his ranged attacks (the soil cannon and the solar beam). Occasionally come down on land far from him to regain stam and then fly up again to fight him.

About a good 30 minutes later he was low HP enough to catch him using a bunch of mega spheres

"Flare Storm" is the Skill Fruit that is needed in order to teach any pal the attack, "Fire Tornadoes, " that he is referring to.
This skill fruit can be found on the Skill Tree located due North (slightly East) of the Alpha Mammorest spawn location. The tree will be found on top the Northern side of the two closely positioned hills/cliff faces in this area. If you happen to go up the South side, don't worry, you can build platforms across the gap with little trouble or use a mount to cross. These skill fruits respond every few in-game days so that you can teach this powerhouse of a move to all of your pals in no time. I hope this helps, and best of luck to your and your Pals!

I just used a direhowl. They are fast enough to take 0 damage from the mammoth while riding them. Hit, dodged, repeat, then used a giga sphere

Tip for anyone under leveled try to build your pal box base as close as you can and stack it with good pal mons and then let it chase you to your pal.box and they should all start attacking it, this is how i caught it and it was easy

I think an interesting practice one should do is if it appears they still have a bit too much health and you’re worried about killing them with your weapon. Just hit them with your axe, pickaxe or your fist. And then throw the spear

i just built a wall of campfires and watched it walk back and forth catching itself on fire, inevitably leading to an easy catch where he’s not even attacking me

You can also make 20 fires around him...

I got him at level 20 and just hid behind the church and kept forcing him to run away. It was pretty easy, no need to do to much just bring him out his spawn, far enough for him to run back and then attack him again.

Even easier just getting any kind of flying type fire pal you can ride or just a flyer youve taught a fire type move. He cannot touch you or damage you except dodgable move.
