You can't get to the "add token" screen with just having an eth wallet.What else needs to be done?

i just bought a ledger and trying to add WXRP. I tried to add it to my etherium account from my coinbase wallet. the test transaction went though but never went into the ledger account even though i pasted the correct address. Is wxrp able to be transferred?

Ex 0:00 instead of showing $29, 03, it shows instead $29, 03 + $105, 48 + $12, 23
