I'm not sure why people hate this quest, it's a standard dungeon crawl with a puzzle that isn't at all a puzzle and a cool moment with a divinity from Elder Scrolls lore.

I just leave the beacon in the chest and don't pick it up, if my character doesn't want to deal with the Daedra. It stays there and you don't have to do anything. Easy 😀 But it would definitely be cool if you could send your followers to do missions on their own.

I hated zombies and the Dawnbreaker quest was a torture to me back at first. Skyrim is the game that made my fear of zombies slightly reduced

that would be hilarious being able to make a companion or hire someone to do quests for you. Actually probably couldn't get that much done considering how many quest have it have to be specifically you either because your the dragonborn, listener or something else special about you.

The only reason people hate this quest is because melkoran one hit ko's the player with frost storm and miridia being extremely naggy and mean to the dragonborn
