of course. They add ANOTHER higher power. First it was the hat, then it was the author, then merlin and now God. I'm sensing a pattern

Since we're going to the 'Hercules' story in the second half, I do believe that Zeus and Hades created that Grail and placed it on Earth for Merlin. And Hades did the price for the evil part of it.

Grail is the source of magic, merlin drank from it, that makes him one of the most powerful sorcerer’s on that show, the dark one next, but because the dark one is tether it weakens them, also merlin relies on love as well so it makes him in a way more powerful, he created a wand to travel between realms, and the apprentice used it in a workd without magic, i think merlin can also use magic in the land without magic like the dragon

Since season 6 added another part to just before the curse and Rumples Birth now is a issue here but that's will be added I'm guessing so many people are trying to finger out this timeline the creators need to make it clear once and for all what goes where by just putting a key on a site so we know how the flash backs go in the right order
