Correction about the LAN connection. After the firmware update (which can only be done with the LAN cable), WiFi is supported by the Homebase. Once the firmware is upgraded, you can discard the LAN cable and connect via WiFi.

old farts have trouble dealing with the complexities of these systems. You have to login for battery charge level, system aggravation level, and all types of artsy fartsygithchy screw-ups. Take then down, frig around and mount them up, then press the synch button and what !!!! I have to unscrew and rescrew and screw all day: WTF ! Just give me something that I can plug in and let it do its job. I have to learn how to land the lunar module for a camera system. Just mouthing off, Dad. Sorry, not a reflection on your video which I appreciated, but the damn thing still escapes me. I am a grumpy old fart, who never kept up with technology, and now I have to open the encyclopedia and memorise the whole damn thing ! Thanks for letting me rant.

Got 3 cam set from Amazon, in 3 months 2cam battery stop charging. Not recommending .
