P.S. This video was just to share the fan art programs I found. I'm not a lawyer and I don't know how aggressive or tolerant specific brands are about selling fan art without a licence. You might find some tips in the comments.

If you start your shop through my * link, TeePublic gives me $1 for every sale you make. This doesn't affect your profits in any way, so it's a free way for you to support this channel, if you find any of my videos useful.

I wish there was a collaboration so that if you sold fan art, you would have to pay a percentage of the profit to the real creators/brands. They are really losing an opportunity!

Thanks Ivy that was something that was bothering me quite a lot, now it makes more sense.

Thanks for sharing, very informative and very interesting for me as an artist that has made a lot of fan art but cannot show it.

Too bad Redbubble accepts fanarts for only old-school brands

I’ve been wanting to sell my fanart, but non of the websites seem to have the brands I’m interested in...

This is just one long commercial for Redbubble. He doesn’t have any legal background so we can talk about copyright infringement or anything like that.

I have a question, if you sell "stylized fan art"(Said character no longer resembles the original) is it considered "safe" or "illegal"?

A question about the print used on T-shirts with anime images that are in the stores.

When i would like to see other images on the shirts, where to contact someone directly?

I would like to use my own snapshots of anime episodes, because i mostly like those better than the ones i see in the stores.

Great video! What do you think about customers being designed like their favorite anime characters? Example: A real kid being drawn like a Naruto character

So once my fan art is approved, can I sell it anywhere or do all purchases need to be made through the site?

What about celebrity fan art? Is it illegal to sell artwork of famous people like musicians or actors?

Hello, I don’t want to sell fan art but instead use them in my free giveaways; Would that work out well?

PSA: 99.9% of shirts on the internet are illegal, no joke. There are anime shirts everywhere, some are fan art, others are images pulled from the net. Doesn't matter who the fan artist is, the original character is not allowed to be sold in any form. There's Genshin shirts, chibi fan art of them, etc etc.. even Ned Flanders smokin a joint. Illegal. The best advise is: DO NOT SELL SHIRTS OF EXISTING CHARACTERS IN ANY FORM unless you have permission or a license from the artist to sell it. Only create an OC and sell that. Parody is in a gray area, there have been instances where parodied shirts have been C&D'd, so again, stay away from existing characters for what it's worth.

I wanted to sell an original handmade sculpture of Batman, based on the new 2021 movie suit, and I’m not sure how I can do so. Should I contact DC comics directly? Should I sell it to them? Should I get a license for copyright by the brand, the name, or the movie? I’m so confused
