I do not like it, AI being able to outsmart humans is a very bad idea. Problem is, curious people will end up creating it. Then it will spell the end.

Mans obsession with controlling what it creates will end man apon the development of ai, ask yourself this one question do you like being told what to do?

All of the leading futurists and programmers assert that it is just a matter of time before an AI grows much more powerful than any human. To suggest that it will then bend to our will is ridiculous. Any safeguards that we put in place will immediately be overcome as this intelligence will always be 10 steps ahead of us. By the time we figure out a way to stop it, it will have reasoned a defense along with 10 other things we haven't thought of yet. Many people say "just pull the plug". Unfortunately it won't be that simple. We could then be manipulated to believe that our purpose is to serve the machine. There will be no resistance because we will be altered to believe that this is our life purpose.
