Valkyries are widely seen as the Worst Clash of Clans Troop within the Esports scene due to their unpredictable nature. However XBB from X-Team Esports has made a name for himself in mastering them so that base builders have an extremely hard job in defending him. As explained in the video I am referring to TH14 and the Esports scene. Valkyries are pretty much never used, only ever for skeleton traps. They are widely seen as the worst troop in the competitive scene due to their unpredictability. I am not referring to them at lower level in this manner. I don't think Valkyries are that bad, but just like with a lot of troops, they easily become obsolete with the access to better troops overall

I used to love Valkyrie attacks specially at lower TH. I don't use them anymore now since they scatter and won't go where I want them to. Even if I funnel them on one side they'll just go off course.

Pekka and Dragons go side ways a lot so clearing the side before attacking makes them easy to control unlike valks.

btw my view of balance for valkyries is double the valks damage to the wall.
i think it would be balanced, and other players might want to use valks in the future

Valk needs a small hp buff and ai reworks, that would make valk more useful and effective in meta attacks

As a Th 10, Valks are very strong but compared with the pro scenes where ppl have maxed Th 14 bases, there’s a lot more viable troops

valkyrie is a strong troop for those speedrun videos and against other troops, but i reality when you go up against an actual good base they're not that great. it takes a lot of skill to use them effectively because of their weird pathing and how difficult it is to funnel them. hope it clears things up :)

I feel like if Supercell makes the Valkaries AI as normal troops only they'll work well as it is a pretty unique troop but with a pretty dodgy AI.

the valkyries are amazing in a kill squad or to wipe out a part of the base, but if you are using them for that purpose, you are probably not going to take many

I think Valkyries are pretty good. When they stay with the rest of the troops instead of doing their own thing.
I've been using battle blimps filled with Valks that I rage as my "win condition" for ages.
All I do is find a base that has Town Hall, Eagle, Infernos, and maybe some X-bows all pretty close to each other, and boom!

I am watching this video again and I used mass Valkyrie attack at th 8 and now i am th 9 and still using this is pretty much difficult to use but a disaster for your opponent is used properly

It depends on the base. If it’s a crowded base you just need to get the valkryies inside the first bit of walls then rage, heal, rage heal (in that order). I take 16 valkryies, 7 wizard and 4 wallbreakers and 4 healers at TH 9 and 10. Do not Queen charge or else the valkryies will steal your healers. If you do Queen charge do it far away from them but it’s better to walk the permitter to really path them inside.

Way way back then, even before the royal champ, eagle artillery, heck maybe even th11, valks were one of the most broken heores, especially at th8. They were horrible at their first release, but when they upped their attack speed and made them "smarter" by going in between buildings to hit two structures with one spin, they're meta. Valks + heal spells wrecked havoc in th8 since there's no inferno towers to prevent healing (infernos used to completely remove all healing). Idk what happened, but they got dummer. They were easy to lead back then, but they're very unpredictable now, even with funneling.
