Been so excited for this video. As soon as I saw these announced at Namm. Honestly guys, I’ve tried ‘em all: Fender, Marshall, Vox, Orange etc. In my humble opinion, Laney are the best amps I’ve ever played and they’re British too! Again only my opinion.

I had a cub12r and bloody hell it sounded good man. 1watt input was great for low volume jamming and could still do small gigs with. I never used the 15watt input but it was a BLUES JR KILLER! Straight up word to you mum

I used to have the Cub12r (the previous 15W 12 inch one) and it was awesome, especially when replacing the stock speaker which in that one was admittedly quite crappy. Always surprised me that they were never taken into consideration in comparison videos between low wattage tube amps - being able to switch between <1W and 15W just made it perfect for any context
