i feel like the theory about toothless recognizing astrid and then looking at hiccup because toothless knew astrid was supposed to be with hiccup makes a lot of sense, hiccup looks super different and astrid looks about the same, which makes me think he wants to know what happened to hiccup if that wasnt him, maybe toothless thought that person did something to him? this scene is very interesting

I feel like he recognized Astrid and seen the kids hiding behind her and then looked back at hiccup, since he didn’t know it was him at first, he was aggressive towards him cause he was trying to protect Astrid and who he probably thought was her kids
