Didn't know aerodynamics came into play in cooking. Learn something new everyday 😅

Always remember- "save the fat, you could use that"

From my experience, it's better to leave about a fingernail thickness of fat left on the brisket to help from drying out.

how to trim a brisket:
first: trim it
second: trim it again

Everyone knows that your brisket must be aerodynamic for it to taste and fly better

I worked at a BBQ restaurant for about six months and I wish I knew about cutting it while partially frozen. I always hated having to trim brisket.

Cook the fat in 1 cup of water to make your beef tallow. Drizzle over brisket when you wrap it cor that 203 temp

I trim minimally, ATLEAST a hour per pound.

Looks yummy, cheers!

Reminds me of my days working in a meat factory trimming fore quarters, sometimes we left the entire fat on the brisket, other times we trimmed every bit off it

This reminds me so much of how my papa used to do this!

Aerodynamic? You gonna use it as a javelin?

This is the one short that gets to the point before the end. Also one of the few that has a point.

Could you show us how to separate the point and flat?

Nice job. I've trimmed a ton of briskets and I agree with everything you presented, especially your first point, a firm, still partially frozen brisket.

Me, I never was served any *sandwich* until I went to College in winter season, and tried emergency coin-operated automated vending machines dispensing choice of tuna, ham, egg, chicken *sandwiches.*

Does that mean that I have to 3d scan my brisket and upload it into an aerodynamic software in order to find the perfect cuts?
