With Wrexham staring back to back promotions in the face, there is NO WAY Ryan and Rob will sell. If they’ve made the club exponentially more valuable than when they came in, that value will only increase as they climb the leagues. They’re in it for the long haul, this is not a ‘flip’ buy and sell for them, this is a serious investment for them, not just a financial investment either, they are emotionally invested in that club too.

I have a slightly different take on this. I can accept that the current owners may possibly be tempted to cash in on the growth in the value of their investment. The problem is that the major part of the increase in value is entirely attributable to Reynolds involvement in creating the international profile of the club and the additional revenue streams that come from that. Reynolds sells and Wrexham becomes just another League 2 club with the same revenue streams as any other League 2 club. Any potential buyer faces the prospect of having the major part of their investment value evaporate the moment the deal is signed and Reynolds is no longer involved. Surely, even in the idiotic world of Football Club financing, there can't be too many potential buyers with that sort of financial death wish ready to take on such an investment!

My first comment was removed, so I'll try again with a different approach (no video link this time, though I still recommend watching it, as it's both fun and informative).

First off, I disagree with the clickbait title. If there's a sale in the team's future, it's not soon. I don't see any evidence of that.

Second, please do your due diligence and learn how to properly pronounce the names of the people about whom you're speaking, especially when it comes to the owners. If you're going to claim to have "great football content, " IMO that includes showing due respect to those who are the subjects of that content.

I'm a Wrexham fan and always hear the "they will get bored before long" comments, especially on twitter. truth is imo is initially Reynolds came across as the business brain whilst rob was more from the heart, different story now as both seem emotionally invested . Sustainability gets Wrexham to championship and I do think another investor would be needed to push on from there. Our trump card is spending power at the minute which is all well and good in national league and league two maybe even league one but I struggle with the thought of us offering 10 million for a player were we ever in the championship or dare I say it, premier league where 10 mil is seen as a 'cheap' player and I'm thinking stadium would need to be 25-30000 to continue that stability.
As for the haters, I struggle with the negativity from the minorities (at least I hope its a minority !!) where you see so many terrible owners who rinse the clubs they run or refuse to invest on players etc . I do feel though its not a case of them selling per se if that was on the table in 5, 10 or 20 years time but more of bringing in an investor and continuing to promote the club as only they can

You need to learn how to pronounce Rob McElhenney. There's an entire song about it.

Unfortunately poor take. These guys aren't like normal businessmen, they are story tellers. A big difference is they have an entire TV show that earns them millions upon millions of dollars to reinvest in the club and gain additional sponsorships that no one else can touch. They won't sell until that new stand behind the goal is built, because that is one of their biggest projects that they promised to accomplish when they first bought the club.

This has got to be the silliest thing I've heard ever. Why would they sell Wrexham? Are they short of money? Are they looking to buy something else? They have started something I am sure they will want to see right to the end. If they can get promoted to the next level in one or two years Wrexham will be worth twice as much as it is now, and then the championship where it will be worth twice as much again. If you play for pennies you make pennies, but if you play for pounds you make pounds.

why would he/thery sell? this platform gives them a channel to market everything else they do, and as they progress, their cashflow will get much better..

Just another clickbait title that has not a single word to do with what's actually talked about in the video. You actually expect people to like that?

Even if they did sell soon, I hope they're well remembered by the original fans as the saviours of the club, which so easily could have folded.

I dont see them selling anytime soon they enjoy the club, town, and the players to keep reinvesting in wrexham because they dont need to make money with the club because they have money unlike past owners

Perhaps you could start by… you know… pronouncing McElhenney correctly 😂.

It doesn't matter if you're a lover or hater of this venture, it just goes to show how when you give people hope anything is possible, I love what they have done for my town.

All I see here is a Youtuber jumping on the Wrexham bandwagon to profit on their success with a non story. They will one day sell, like all Football club owners do, but it isn't anytime soon.

Not a chance in hell they will sell. they have the tv show and the merch and sold out every match...you would have to be a moron to sell at the moment

Selling the club and selling shares/parts of the club are two massively different things. It will increase the market-value of the club like crazy and make their already millions worth many more millions. They won’t cash out 100% unless the offer would already place them in PL

Their presence is a huge part of the success. If they sold it, the team is worth less immediately. Players will come there and play rather than at a higher level because of the possibility of enormous media exposure. And the chance that you will actually, at some point, hang out with Mac and Deadpool. Same with coaches. Sponsors also recognize the marketing inevitability that is Mr. Lively. Everything he touches turns to gold and the allure does not seem to be fading, as it usually does with the famous people. Remove Rob and Ryan from the equation and the TV show is over, the media attention ebbs drastically, the sponsors disappear, those players and coaches will go elsewhere. People will not want to visit at the same levels and things eventually return back to the way they were. They promised these people they were in it for the long haul so they had better keep their word.
