The biggest issue for me was that I was forced to bring 4 characters but if they changed this I think it's a massive improvement already

When people said they wanted more challenging combat in the game, I don't think they meant purely artificial difficulty in the form of restricted Elements and on-the-fly team building with random character additions.

The only challenge to IT is having bothered to build more characters than you ever had any need to build prior to its introduction. This game only required 2 fully built (and synergistic) teams of 4, making vertical investment a highly strategic move to comserve resources and efficiently spend Resin. IT seemingly only exists to encourage/coerce people to just keep mindlessly pulling and building character after character because we don't officially know which three Elements will be allowed inside in any particular future month.

Dropping the required characters to 16 will help more players be allowed in the door, but without increasing Vigor or increasing the probability of the renewed Vigor cards then it may only exacerbate the issues with IT. It doesn't fix the issues of entirely artificial difficulty, or the fact that this is yet another boring circular battle arena.

Imaginarium theater is crap. Waaay too controlled, doesn't even reward players who have every character built bc they lock them from the start.
And the combat isn't at all fun. All I wanted was an endgame with a better combat scenario, rather thsn just a round room.

I am going to be honest here needing more characters AND making a mode that ONLY wales and long time people can enjoy is not that good all it will do is make people more frustrated if you want to make a game mode fit for everyone then you should do like a multi wave something similar to the abyss where you just need to survive as long as possible and you get rewards for it the new mode will just make new players and other people who have not been playing for a long time feel left out and will not be able to get the maximum rewards which will feel even worse

They don't understand what is requested of them, REDUCE the amount of characters required, remove the 4-party restriction and make it massively ramp in difficulty so you have to take boons and think.

As a F2P I’m every very glad to get a more easily accessible Normal Mode. Usually my characters are too weak for that or I don’t meet the level requirements and can’t even try it, because I’m missing 1-2 characters. I built extra characters in 4.7 and grinded hard only to get stuck after the 3rd level of normal mode. It just was too difficult. Granted, my builds are so incredibly underwhelming but IT is very fun content and even tho I’ve only been playing for 1+ years, I want to engage with it badly (also freemos lol). I welcome the changes!
