So I saw them(cuttlefish) try to (maybe) communicate with a diver by swimming up to him and turning the exact same color as he was wearing.
It seemed more curious than threatening!!!
Kinda cute!!
Does anyone wonder if these fish, after "thinking" they have seen everything in the ocean are just as amazed and curious as we are to see something they have never seen?!?!?!(maybe they aren't just stupid fish!)

You telling me, that cuddle fish fall for the same tick they themselves use? Hmm…

You forgot to add that they are highly intelligent. As an old diver (started in 1981), I've had great experiences.

Some species can also fold & crinkle up their arms to perfectly mimic a crab. And my favorite, the Flamboyant cuttlefish, looks just like a friggin’ *ORCHID* . They’re suuuuper tiny…between 6 - 8 cm. Absolutely incredible.

This amazing creatures ink saved my life. Scientists were able to create a cure to my thalasemia when I was 3 years old.

Correction: cuttlefish are not able to “swallow prey whole.” Their beaks are used to slowly shred their food. They swallow in small bits because their throats are rather tight. The reason for this? All cephalopods have doughnut-shaped brains that wrap around their esophagus. If they tried to swallow food that was too big, it would destroy their brains.

With those yellow eyes, and strobing
stripes, if I saw a huge flashing cuttlefish, I would stand there, amazed as well. I would be screaming "ALIENS" as the giant tongue reached out! I get it! That is some act! They are top predators that octopus miss on.
