Thank you Paul for The Carnivore Code. No one has ever shown me cave art with cauliflower or broccoli or any fruit for that matter. As far as this 66 year old is concerned, an animal based diet is best, anything else is either candy or medicine.

This makes me so happy to hear both the benefits and possible side effects of plant molecules coming from a carnivore perspective . Why I love listening to dr. Salidino. These things are just not black and white. For instance if I see an estrogen that is off the charts I will 100% recommend something like DIM (that comes from broccoli ) because it really does help lower estrogen. On the other hand if some one already has low estrogen and eating or taking these kinds of supplements then you can see the obvious possible side effects of too low estrogen. It's would be the most beneficial if we each knew what was going on inside our bodies each year if not every 6 months with good functional medicine labs

I have mixed feeling about this. I have a 30 yr history of OA (still have my original knees and plan to keep them) and a 10 yr history of chronic spontaneous urticaria (autoimmune in nature). Ketovore for last few years. Can't seem to transition fully to carnivore. What I really rely on though are multiple plant based supplements to address the mast cell degranulation from both these issues. Lots of research showing benefits of quercetin for OA, allergies and mast cell stabilization. My hs-CRP went from 2.4 to 1.5 with supplements. Remarkable really with my mast cell disorder. Aiming for less than 1. Maybe I'll get there if I can manage to go fully carnivore.

Plants should be use for medical purposes, only . Cats and dogs they do . But some plants chemicals from plants did some good for humans e.g DMT, THC, CBC, 2-CB, mescaline and a few others ;)

Sooo tired of hearing that plants are dangerous. We literally can nitpick any food and find a "negative" aspect. People been eating meat, fruits, vegs, herbs, spices since beginning of time & been doing fine.

All this education and such a box of rocks. I will keep repeating this until the cows come home since you refuse to address it or discuss it. Wild carinovores eating some of the stomach and intestine contents of their ruminant prey. Now whether it is because of the fiber or the bacteria, either way, carnivores get benefit from plant matter in the wild and those carnivores don't suffer from human diseases. I am no vegan, i am a meat and greens omnivore. To discount the benefit the plants play for carnivore microbiome is stupidity. Especially considering your meat and organ diet is largely sterile.
