I have actually been playing in relaxed and yes god It is actually much easier. The damage reduction means that you won't die by a stupid thing so easily early game, and the no wildfires makes the game like 10 times easier.

Also I guess Charlie still tries to hit you because even if she doesn't kill you, It still drops your sanity I think.

It'd be cool if the damage increase could also apply to monsters. High risk high reward. It would also apply to food so feeding a pig mushrooms would kill it faster

I combine the High damage setting with a “No instant healing” mod.

It definitely makes your health expensive, and death is cheap 💀
