I just bought one of these today. Traded my used Vibrolux even for it. I've owned a Twin Reverb, Vox AC 15, and a Vibrolux over the past 8 years and this is by far my favorite amp. No weird tube issues. No worrying if the amps going to shit itself at a gig. No wondering if you should carry a backup set of tubes with you everywhere you go. JUST PLAY. This thing is also super light! Crank this up on 60 watts and it will blow your head off. You can also run it at lower power setting, get the tone you want but without blowing everyone out of the room. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I want everyone in my band playing one so we can control the volume better.

Tom g- that's the guitar, not the amp. You can put a noise reduction pedal or a compressor to tame some of that.

Lovely tones throughout, but I can’t work on this amp if it goes down and it won’t be around as long as the old school topologies are. Freakin killer amp tho.

Its loud and clean but in my opinion lacks warmth and depth. It's too mid focused and a bit one dimensional. I got mine gently used but feel the new retail price is absurb. Anyway, thats just my take on it.

Will you guys be getting any Marshall DSL amplifiers in store at all? Or the SL5? I'd really like to play them but I've got to travel a ways away in order to try them!

It has a lot of finger squeaking when you move your hand on the fretboard. This is annoying to my ears. Can anybody comment that this is standard condition or not?
