Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited we are taking a look at what might be the most perfect Motorhome for State and National Parks.. This is the 2023 Coachmen RV Leprechaun 260DS. This is a Class C Motorhome and the reason why I say it might be perfect is because it is 27ft 5in and it gives you a Sofa, Dinette and a private bedroom! You never get this in a motorhome this compact! I know if your looking for motorhome that gives you privacy and comfort then you will LOVE this Leprechaun!

My first and only RV i picked wbith zero knowledge is a 2017 Coachman Leprechaun (bought used) 271QB. No slides. I dont have bedroom door..have long curtain but space to add a bi-flold. I knew i did not want slides. My RV has tons of storage. Very similar to new one. My bath has shower across from room with door with great toilet space, great vanity and lots of storage.
I decided to have old fashioned dinette and jackknife sofa with no arms removed. I had a custom storage box built with tons of storage and made cushion for it. I had L shaped butcheblock bar under window and along L shaped kitchen. This gave me awesome floor space!! Temoved all the weird valences and made my own curtains
Had walls painted sage with accent wall of darker green.. i love it. Under RV storage is great. More room then needed. Oh undeor butcherblock bar under window added a 2 door cabinet painted darker green color.

I live in it fulltime with just myself and my scottie. Only sleeps 5 now but not an issue for me. It is a totally awesome model. Watching your video was so fun. Major thing added that i like is the front window in bunk.
Everyone who visits is amazed at the spacious interior. Drives great also. You and Andrea are so entertaining with your videos. Thanks. Oh i am 67 yo woman who had never been in a Rv but 3x and never drove one. Best decision iade in my whole life.

I'm really liking the arms on the loveseat. They allow two people to sit side-by-side while still providing armrests and cupholders.

I would love to see a smaller Class C RV (22-24 feet long) made for a single person or couple only. They could have a large bed over the cab with a HUGE moonroof that opens up so you can see the stars at night. And then the rest of the layout would be a used for dinette, large kitchen and a HUGE bathroom with a tub. I will give up having a large bed on the floor for the extra space in the kitchen and bathroom and just sleep above the cab.

We're the millers is the movie they're talking about.

As usual, Andrea makes me laugh, just imagining Matt loading up the house with random pieces of Art Deco, although an RV done entirely in Art Deco, could be fun. I missed whether that enormous amount of storage is accessible from the bed. That could be very useful to me. If I were to RV, which is my fantasy, I would need space to store dialysis supplies, which that storage looks about perfect for in a smaller RV, otherwise a toy hauler would offer better storage, but they're really long, and I don't have a lot of experience with vehicles that long.

I think if it were me, I'd have carpet, or padding of some kind added to the faces of those steps. Some of us can really injure our face if we hit them against things. As you can tell, I'm watching these reviews with an eye towards people with moderate disabilities. So thanks for these.

I like the fact that although from the outside it looks like the cab is totally separate from the living quarters, it is absolutely open to them! AND in such a small RV the seats still swivel! Oh, and I like that even though tis tiny the “kitchen” is not plain galley style but has an L-shaped counter/sink combo. So the space is not boring! And I love the fact that the fridge is larger, has a separate freezer that is actually roomy (you can fit more than an ice cube tray!) and how cool is that, that the doors open from either side! Yay! That’s great for small spaces.

The top things i see wrong in all motor homes. 1 beds are not a standard size 2 ovens are cheaply made, and all stove tops should be four burners. 3. Suspension on all tow rigs should be top of the line, not an aftermarket item.4. All motor homes should have dual capabilities to off-grid with Solar mandatory and batteries/optional. 5. All toilets should come adaptable for mulch toilets and easy access to the black tank to be made into grey. 6. All sinks should be easily replaced so customers can add or replace them. I have watched hundreds of videos; your videos are the most enthusiastic. My wife and I enjoy Matt's and Andrea's showmanship and honesty. I have never seen a negative word placed on the two of you, and that says a lot. We have a few more years, and then we will be looking you up!

I own the 2022 version. The small storage at the rear of camp side rear has an optional table that slides out. The outside storage at the rear of the unit is huge. I still have room for more stuff. The CarPlay radio is new this year. The cab seats are comfortable and my wife has plenty of leg room (like Andrea-my wife is about the same size). The overcab bunk will sleep three kids (6 to 8 years of age) comfortably. We did sleep 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids) comfortably (for one night). The jackknife sofa was essential. We were out with my daughter, her husband and 3 kids. The kids slept inside all nights and my daughter and her husband did the last night. The “U dinette seats a lot of people and folds to a nice size bed. You should put a small strip of Velcro on the bottom of the table and each lip so the table doesn’t slide when made into a bed. We have a 12V Norcold fridge and it worked well. It is sensitive to voltage fluctuations in the 12V system. I might think about changing to the Magic Chef one in the future. The pantry and cabinets in the kitchen (and above the sofa) is plentiful. The cabinet by the door is fantastic. A great place for keys and little storage. I moved the fire extinguisher into that cabinet (it is within 24 inches of the exit). We purchased 2 SKUUB closet organizers (6 compartments each) to store clothes. If you’re camping, how many clothes to you really need to hang. We couldn’t feel the fold in the mattress. It was comfortable. The little shelf with power below it easily held my CPAP and able to charge my Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad. That little retractable shelf in the bathroom was a place we set toiletries, medicines, etc. It is just extra bathroom counter space while you are in the bathroom. The linen closet above the table “hidey hole” held all are towels and washcloths. We normally use the campground showers and toilets. The coach bathroom and toilet are for emergencies. We did make use of the door to separate main sleeping area from the living room. The downside of the “master” bedroom is the lack of ventilation in that area. The window is an emergency exit window and doesn’t open for ventilation. Our 260DS does have 2 MaxAir fans (above bunk and in main bedroom) The air conditioner did work well, but 7 people inside made it work. We do have the slow rise blinds. The sofa in our unit is better than the one in your video. We towed our Hyundai Santa Fe on a tow dolly and it didn’t even feel like it was pulling anything. It was easy to park. I don’t like the cameras mounted on the cab, above the wheels. The coach blocks part of the view. I prefer them on the coach just behind the cab. We also have a BigFoot auto leveling system. We also had blind spot detectors installed. It does help. The awning is fantastic. Setting up our campsite was amazingly quick. Overall, a good unit.

We almost made and offer on one of these but the fact you can’t use the kitchen with the slide closed was a no-go for us. ☹️

The board in the bathroom is for a curling iron or hairdryer etc. I love that feature.

That "little bit of storage" on the outside is the place to put your outside flat screen TV when not in use.

“We are the Miller’s” is the movie. And my husband has added that phrase to his vernacular as well.

The little board in the bathroom is for you to put your I-pad on to watch the news or a podcast while you shave!!

Hi Matt Andrea! My likes are:
The storage in and out. The bedroom and the j shape dinette. My dislike are the bathroom is a little tight. But doable. I like the refrigerator that opens two ways. Don’t like the step up. I think this is a great Rv for as small as it is. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
