I am very proud to have served in the US Air Force in the 1960's, this was our song and I still love to hear it.

I grew up on Air Force bases - I definitely miss hearing this played at movie theaters prior to the movie.

Haven't made anything in the U.S. for a long time, so I thought why not make one. I'll get back to some Soviet marches shortly.

In 1969 I signed up for the USAF. I am just as proud of that today as I was when I left for basic training.

That's quite unexpectedly to hear US music here. But still a good work and music!

Not an Air Force veteran

However, I am a civil air patrol Cadet

They played this song at our encampment graduation during our pass and review

I’m proud of the civil air patrol and I am proud of the Air Force

Back in the late 50s or early 60s this song would play on TV every Saturday morning around 7 AM, right before Diver Dan came on.

My dad was in the airforce just as Vietnam was starting to kick off, when I was six he told me they came out with a song and told me the first line so I'd know it when I heard it. 12 years later and here I am.

Back in the day, late 60's, when I joined the USAF, this was the song we were told to learn in basic training and was played in theaters on base. Now I still remember the words and really enjoy seeing the aircraft in it that made the USAF the most powerful military on earth. 33 years of AF life later, I still like the song.

A lot of great video footage here. Thanks for putting this together. And more thanks for using the original lyrics to this great song and not the watered-down PC lyrics from some woke general now in charge.

US music dedicated to its military is rare.

It is so catchy, I see why it would be part of a recruitment campaign.
