I wonder if anyone knows where to get the plastic film Mary uses to cover the buns for proving. When I use cling film it tends to squash the dough . Thanks

I had to double the recipe for my family, they absolutely loved them. Spicy, light, warm, with a simple yet yummy glaze. And the grandkids told me the story of Easter as we dribbled the crosses on them. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Australia.

I was so apprehensive attempting this, but the recipe (on Good Food) and this video made it so easy. It took over 3hrs all in but they smell and taste absolutely delish. Mary Berry is the best. An absolute diamond 💎

i just made these, and want to say that the recipe on the website leaves out the second proving, before you shape the buns.
but I recommend including it because they took ages to rise
but the end result was superb, of course!

Good tip about the yeast and salt staying apart. I made some today, before I watched your video, and they came out as hard as cannonballs! So disappointing. I thought maybe the yeast (dried) was too old. I've had it a year. Also, I only proved them once for an hour and a half. So I'm going to try again and use your tips. Thank you :)
