In this video, I demonstrate the main ways to play Timbales pattern Palito and Cascara. The Cascara pattern can be played with two hands, usually at fast tempos, and with one hand, with the second hand playing the fill on the hembra-the largest of the timbales. So often played in the styles of Mambo, Salsa and others. The second hand can also play the Clave pattern.
In the next video I will show you how to play Timbales rhythms Cha-Cha-Cha, Bomba and Conga Comparsa.
Recorded on "Free Tube Studio" by Mikhail Nikolaev.
