You should tell people that "Free Office 365" is for developers ONLY, After an initial 90 day period, users will get a reminder and 90 more days (still free). After that, if the user does not use Free Office 365 installed using the method you teach FOR DEVELOPMENT, administrator access, the subscription, and all user data will be deleted by Microsoft. This is critical information users should know and it either wasn't in your video or it wasn't emphasized.

There is no Office Free app in Microsoft store. But there is Microsoft 365 (Office) Free. Does this one work?

Update: according to Microsoft licence agreement this is a developer’s licence valid only for 90 days . Licence will be cancelled after that period if no developer activity is detected by Microsoft . Once is cancelled it can not be renewed.

What happens when there's no option for "Office free" as you indicate at 6:05? Not all of us get that option. Or do different countries behave differently? When I clicked on the "Microsoft 365 (office free)" option, Install, and then "Get", there was no option for sign in. It was either buy Microsoft 365 or get more. And that is where I lost you. Or could it that i had already tried downloading the Microsoft word before? If i have already installed Microsoft 2013, does it interfere with it? I am having problems with office 2013. Should I delete it first?

Finally, allow me say thank you for teaching us. Even in class, we have different sets of learners and some may be having their own issues not to mind this is also a machine we're dealing with. I think I might have allowed different people to temper with my PC and my office 2013 was misbehaving for the past 2 months. Having repeated watching this clip, this time slowly and keenly following your explanations step by step, I got it right. I didn't have to delete office 2013. Now ever time I click on the word document, it works perfectly. No asking for configurations or such stuff each time i am opening a word document. So allow me keep my original comment even though i've edited it severally. It might help another learner with issues as mine. I know I might not be alone. THANK YOU! For that reason, I have subscribed to your channel.

It seems this option is no longer available in 2024. I tried it but it says I do not currently qualify for ms 365 developer subscription
