Who are the Ismailis?

Ismailism is a religious minority which counts about 15 million followers around the world . Not much is known about them and they left but a few written traces in history. But they enjoyed a brief period of great power in Islamic history.
To understand the Ismailis we have to go back to the time of the early Shia community. For the Shiites Imams are the authentic political and spiritual leaders of the Muslim community.

I had a question I have seen numerous accusations that ismailism is a cult but a redditor debunked it and explained its misinformation im a new convert to islam and chose ismailism due to loving the beliefs could ismailis in the comments tell me if the accusations are founded, dont want to leave the faith but im unsure who is right

Hz Imam Ismail didn't disappear before his father's death, you are actually quoting Shia twelver sources aka apologetic sources not neutral sources . also we (Alevis) are the ones who followed Hz Imam Musa Kazim while our Ismaili brothers ( who are also Alevis ) followed Hz Imam Ismail, both are right Imams and both have the same light and both of us Are alevis, their Fatimid caliphate was officially labeled " Alevi state" . confusion erupted only from Shia Twelver sources .

One thing this video forgot to mention is that Ismailism is a religion on its own and are not considered within the fold of Islam. The reason for this is that they have chosen to disregard any fundamental religious conditions that have to be met to be considered muslim and therefore belonging to the islamic faith. Some of these fundamental islamic conditions that they decided not to follow are, the 5 daily prayers, giving the zakat (giving of charity), Fasting and the pilgrimage to Mecca. Ismailis believe in the Quran but do not read it or follow it, most of them never even saw a Quran in real life. They believe that their spiritual leader agakhan is a talking Quran, meaning the rules and regulations come from his sayings and not that of the Prophet Muhammed peace and blessings be upon him or the Quran that contains the direct Speech of Allah (The One and only and Unique True God). Their belief system does not follow islamic manuscripts, they just made their own religion and are fooling the ignorant. The Agakhan is notorious for having gotten his riches from all the money that simpleton ismaelis donate to the agakhan, because the agakhan tells them they need to donate to his foundation and not give charity directly to the poor like Islam actually teaches. The whole religion is a massive scam, the AgaKhan himself can't even read the Quran.

))) It's funny, the word Aga khan has nothing to do with Islam. It's a Turk word. Aga - means unlce or brother, khan means king. Majority of Turk culture nations are Sunni muslims not Shia.
