Why tf do the Italians get all the credit man. I’ve been doing this in Vietnam since I was 17

Edit: I looked it up and the term “Italian cuff” is valid. (Although I still don’t understand why such common sense knowledge was given this term). There is also a “French cuff”.

To the guy who said his dad drove a BMW since he was a kid, but that doesn’t make it Indonesian… you missed my point (or maybe I didn’t understand that rolling up your sleeves was on the same level of innovation as a BMW). Anyway I agree with you about your dad’s Beemer.

To the “non”-Italian guy calling us idiots in the comments… it’s 2023 guy. We have translators. Also, I’m glad you think Italian food is the best in the world. I’m happy you enjoy your culture’s food.

My point is, it’s common sense to roll up your sleeves. I suspect any early human with clothing that had long sleeves did roll it up on occasions. I happened to learn “Italian cuff” all on my own as a teenager.

Lastly, to the guy who says it’s Italian standard to dress well. We all want to dress well bro, it’s a standard everywhere.

I learned this early on. Let’s modernize gentlemen fashion at a young age.

A skill the Marines taught me and still use. In military order, your cilvilan attire must match your military attire. Always looking good.

Well both are viable. The method you show is for a neat cuff. Works with a business casual attire. When you're in a more relaxed setting like a summer vacation, a little messy and relaxed look is better. For example, neat cuffs wouldn't go with the extra undone button you showed. Or if you like the baggy shirt look.
