I can’t believe what I was seeing while watching this trial. It felt personally offensive. Their client murdered dozens of innocent children and teachers and the Defense were so obviously disrespectful, dishonest and flippant throughout, they were sincerely and authentically cruel to the victims’ families - and the DA and judge who all were of course emotionally involved with this case.

I understand ruthlessly defending their client but they were beyond the pale by far. Disgusting abuse of their positions.

Nicholas Cruz is the shooter from Lakeland Park in Florida. My daughter is 29 years old and she is a Florida school teacher. Every year for training they have to watch the unedited video from his rampage. Bless her heart. She comes home crying every time.
