Ok list I guess. Definitely a thumbs up but wouldn't mind a top 20 or 30 to broaden the options.

The 4runner has a large cargo area and an optional 3rd row seat plus it is an actual suv "body on frame"

How did the traverse make the list? It should have been the toyota highlander or the honda pilot.

did you watch the video? Honda Had the Civic, Accord, and CR-V. Toyota mad the list with the Sienna and the PriusC (I'd go with a Highlander OR a Pilot before either a Pathfinder or the Traverse though.)

I didn't know "Old" meant out-dated?... real-time 4wd came out in the mid-to-late 80's on the civic wagon... for 2012 it has been revamped (again) to now be controlled electronically rather than just hydrolically. (hence the new "AWD" rather than 4WD.) Pretty sure a 2.4l with 189hp, and a cross-over getting 30+ observed highway fuel economy is about as competitive as it gets for the class at this point... (PS. Look for the "Earth Dreams" direct injection to be coming for 14 or 15

Toyota did make the list with the Sienna in the, but realistically, any Japanese car is good enough to be on the list, and some were just excluded out of personal preference or whatever other reason. Why else would the Mazda 6 or the Mazda CX-5 not make the list? Anyways, the reason more Toyotas didn't make it is because the redesigned Corolla was just unveiled, but isn't yet available. The Camry is great, auto reviewers don't like it because it's made for practicality and not racing.

None of the vehicles in the SUV category were actually suvs. Where is the 4Runner?

How come Honda make the list and Toyota didn't make the list?

The Fusion with the 2L Turbo is more reliable option. Stay away from the smaller engine as only those vehicles were recalled for fire hazard. Nissan Altima does not make the list because it has a bunch of TSBs and electronics problems. The Accord is a better, more reliable and holds the record for the longest higher resale value in the world.

Why the prius c en not the original prius? The c is a city shopping car for mom? Not a family car.

and the "American Ford" was built in Mex. (not knocking the Mexico assembly... Just the fact that folks think that an American Car company means "made in america"

Here is a tip... if the VIN starts with a 1, 4 or 5 it was made in the USA, (a 3... was made in mexico.)

PS. All of the Hondas that made the list are made in the USA~ And Honda Exported more cars from the USA to other countries than any other make last year. can you say D stands for Domestic incase you didn't know.
