Moving vr cameras doesnt bother some people. I love content like that. I'm going to buy this camera and move the hell out of it. I'll buy a good stabilizer.

As @Insomn says: Moving VR Cameras are e.g. absolutely no problem for me as long as I can face the direction I want. I mounted a 1-Inch in my backpack swinging around like hell while walking. No gimbal etc. just flowstate and it worked like a charm. :)

The 65mm lens distance is nice. I have an IPD of 68mm so on some cameras with 60-63mm people look huge to me.

Sadly the korean media isn't doing vr shoots anymore, if you look around youtube there was a period when the companies produced a lot of 360 and 180vr clips. (Maybe when samsung was actively in the sector imo)

Wow!! Have to say in VR the dancer is scary close .. a bit too close I'd say. But overall just a wow experience, thanks for explaining everything! Had to leave the VR YouTube on the Meta Quest to leave this comment .. that app needs certainly some more love.

Looks good the only video I noticed a lot of ghosting was the close up dance all the rest were very crisp.

Thanks Hugh, I was very curious to see what the CALF is capable of. That name.. 🐄
I liked the result a lot! Much better 3D than the Canon, and of course a big difference with my EVO. I’m tempted, but for me, the price is too high for what you get. It’s close, but I think I’ll pass for now. Probably. 😄 A better sensor, and preferably a bit smaller. It’s so big compared to the EVO which was perfect to take with me, especially when travelling.

@hughhou shouldnt this now be available in 8k on youtube as well (since the new 8k update)? or can it only be in 4k on YT because the original (and meta experiences version) is 6K but youtube only supports either 4k or 8k but nothing in between anymore? In general i noticed some users had uploaded 8k vids (or labeled them as such at least) in the past, that dont show up in 8k versions on yt (yet).

▶️ And what about the holding the Insta360 Pro 2 horizontally? To transport it it is just very uncomfortable to hold it vertically, but horizontally it is mounted in a 90° angle so I am scared that the 1/4 screw will not hold...

I am using google cardboard withy smartphone to view in vr180 mode. The question is are there any difference between 1k, 2k, 4k, 6k video when using Google cardboard and YouTube to view ???
I believed YouTube has a restrictions of upload video with a maximum resolution of about 1k only, anything higher YouTube will convert it to 1k, is that true ??
So is there anyway i can truely see the high res video you put on YouTube ? Or YouTube has already convert it to 1k already??

Hi, how can I download this video for viewing locally? I don't have quest. I am using ar glasses and I would like to view some VR 180 3d videos. But the player app requires the videos to be locally downloaded.
