Thank you so much! None of the methods I saw online would do, but thanks to your video I managed to get the first million. I just memorized the position of the ball at the moment of hitting and now I get at least to the 5th round most of the time.

If anybody is still having trouble with this like I was well I've just figured out some tips...
1. Do gold rich (Not super gold rush)
2. Hit balls as they are curving towards you
3. Memorise the patterns it's the same everytime

I must have tried at least 50 times by now. I have not gotten past the 4th ball. And even getting that far is I am extremely impressed. I just need this, mahjong and 5 more climax ones for the full 100%

For anyone new that happens to look at this for tips while looking at the ball helps the timing on when to swing is when Kyiru stops moving the bat and is still.

So thats what worked for me:
At first try to put looking at the ball and at kiryu together, because its both important. Then its pretty much necessary to learn the exact timings of the ball. FOCUS ON THE SOUND, that was the most important thing for me. The easiest way to the cp is to reach 6 million and then drop out.

I spent a long time trying to perfect this, hit the last target and the game glitched and set Kiryu up to bat against a board with all targets broken, causing me to fail lol.

What I did was: drilled the timing into my fingers (muscle memory) so that I respond automatically, all up until the 6th one. After getting the 6th one, I bail and try again. Repeated this 4 more times and got 5mil total and the completion point.
It took me about 3½ hours to memorise the timing with a ton of frustration and rage, but from then on, it was smooth sailing, with little turbulence.

For anyone playing Yakuza 0 for the first time and struggling with this, all I have to tell you is just wait until Yakuza 3. :)

TIps that worked for me. Write down the speed of the ball and the type of ball on a pad. You only have to make it to 9, 000, 000 in one run and then just 6, 000, 000 on a second to get the completion point.

This got me the money I needed, all I did was got the first 6 by my own skill, then I watched the exact point the target was at when you started the 7th shot timer and aimed at the spot you did and hit the ball.

Got it first try.

6 years late but I'm finally getting started with the Yakuza series, I'm only on chapter 2 but I decided to grind this one out. After 40 minutes I had my very first run where I got to the moving rainbow marker, I decided screw it I'm risking this, I'm not doing this 4 more times and just went for it. I didn't even look at the ball, the bat, or anything, I just zoned out and waited until it felt right to swing...And I hit it, getting it right in the rainbow circle and earning that sweet sweet 21 mil
