You got balls of steel bro! I would be horrified of the thought of spray painting directly onto car paint, especially a Porsche 😬😬😬

i did the same thing on my TT painting the emblems red with plastic dip, but i recently went all blacked out emblems with spray paint. I would recommend that you go all black with "cayman s" emblem" then hit it with 3 coats of clear coat spray paint! it would look

Have u ever tryied using Rust-oleum Peel Coat

If you get residual spray, you can just wipe it with a microfiber towel. It comes right off

Doesn't the red plastic come away from the cayman s letters when you wash it or does it form hard like paint? also for such a beautiful and fairly expensive car would it not be worth buying the red lettering off ebay and getting a garage to change the silver for the red? Scared of damaging the paintwork with the screwdriver getting the inner bits of the letters off the paint. Cost of car vs cost of getting it done professionally is really low I reckon???
