The Pixel 6a is the new budget phone by Google for 2022 and dare we say it changes the rules in the affordable phone market. All in all, at its $450 price, the Pixel 6a looks like a serious contender for the best budget phone title! How is it after 1 month?

Actually...I'm quite impressed with the battery life...lasts me the whole day everyday...my day begins at 7 AM and ends at like 11 PM...with lots of Whatsapp video calls, Instagram, Bluetooth music and camera usage. I end everyday with nearly 20 percent

You are not alone with the issue. I find phones larger than 6.1 inch screens to be cumbersome too.

I had the same problem with the narrow formafactor from a sony phone, it was very difficult to typ on and i have small hands, You' re not the only one ;-). Thanks for a great update/review!

I still don't understand why these companies are forcing these inscreen fingerprint readers down our throat. Please go back to capacitive. My 5a is the best and fastest!

I've had the phone for a month now and I love it have had no complaints and I'm a heavy user lots of social media YouTube and Netflix.

#teampixel doing the rounds, despite the Pixel 6a being a bit of a weird release and maybe a mistake by Google. With the Pixel 6 now only $50 more, you really need to get $150 off the 6a to make it value. The Pixel 6 is clearly a better sub-$500 phone than the 6a, unless a slightly smaller footprint defines your choice.

Due to the year on issues with the Pixel 6 line I would not recommend it and although some people have been okay, too many have suffered from the bugs and poor features, that remain ongoing, and Android 13 has also again caused problems. I wonder if that is why Google stopped the roll out. I would say to anyone wanting to jump on the Pixel bandwagon, DON’T, wait for the Pixel 7 to see if Google has resolved the hardware and software issues. These include a bad modem that drains battery on 5G, heat, poor performance especially sustained loads, sub-par FP sensor, 1000’s of bugs, a rather tame camera upgrade on the Pro, slow charging, and patchy connections.

And bro btw who uses optical fingerprint like this?? Tap and go?? Its not ultra sonic fingerprint its a 450 dollar phone and mostly its a google phone..soo why r u trying to tap and unlock?? Try holding ur finger for 1 sec and it works fine...

You look awfully frustrated of Pixel 6a after 1 month use, slow charging time, inconsistent camera quality, and it's on-screen fingerprint scanner.. Just imagine u using the same phone as i'm using for already 4 years, Redmi 5a 😁😁

its worth it for the trade-in price, but I also don't like the battery life, and the 5g with the modem on my carrier is unreliable, i had to go back to LTE. I had no problem with my samsung. but it was cheap (i got it for pre-order price), so I deal with it.

In display finger print is done right by vivo hands down..even thr 250 dollar phones have better optical fingerprints thn googls flagship phones..

Pixel phones are shit. I can easily get a new Samsung S21 which is much better.
