Some work in progress this week as Anna is exploring writing lyrics for the first time!

Hi Anna, I'm looking forward to hearing the finished song, it's sounding really cool already. in my old band. When we wrote new songs I'd collaborate with the other guitar player on melodies, but lyrics I always worked on alone. Here's a little tip that you may already know.
If you come up with a really cool line but have trouble rhyming it without the line to rhyme becoming a bit of a throwaway, then reverse them and put the throwaway line first. Your phrase will resolve on something really good and that always makes the song sound more flowing and poetic. I hope that makes sense.
My claim to fame is in 2000 One of our songs won an award for Best British Country Music song. It's not that big a deal, there aren't too many of them.
