1. Save to C:
2. Right click on Certificate
3. Click Install Certificate
4. Choose Local Machine
5. Choose Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate\
6. Click Finish

I found other directions on Stack Overflow but this is much simpler and it worked for NET Framework 3.5 NET 2.0.

Thanks!

Hi ! It was a real struggle to install that damn NET Framework 4.6.2. Here's a recap of what I did ( not perfect explanation but it worked ).

1) Get offline installer of Microsoft Framework 4.5 and install it ( it's the basic step - you should not have any certication issue with that installer ).

2) Then download the Framework 4.6.2 upgrade here and wait before installing it

3) Make sure the KB2813430 update is installed to make sure the certifcate will work, otherwise get it and install it

4) Get the certificate they're talking about on the page below and download it from link :

5) To install that certificate, you should just have to install it as shown on the video. For me, it did nothing, so I had to launch these commands on a console on the directory where the certificate file is located :

CertUtil -addstore AuthRoot

Certutil -addstore "Root"

CertMgr -add -c -s ROOT

6) now, you can install the Framework 4.6.2 with no problems... why they made this update so complicated ? I wonder...

Not Work until I do this steps:

1) Open Microsoft Management Console (MMC), click Start > Run > enter MMC > OK
2) From the console, select File or Console > Add/Remove Snap-In
3) From the list, select Certificates > Add > Computer Account > Local Computer > OK
4) From left menu, expand Server Name > Certificates(Local Computer) > Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates
5) Right-click Certificates folder > select All Tasks > Import
6) This will open the Certificate Import Wizard > click Next
7) Browse to the location of the intermediate certificate > select Next
8) Select Place the certificate in the following store: Trusted Root Certification Authorities
9) Click Finish
