How to Sign Out of GMAIL App on Android Phone

Logout or Sign out Gmail app on android phone. There are two ways to get rid of or sign out gmail app in android phone.

#1. Stop new email in gmail app ( Stop Sync)
#2. Remove gmail account..

#1. Stop new email in gmail app ( Stop Sync)

Step 1: open gmail app.

Step 2: Open left drawer menu and go to settings.

Step 3: click on three dots and open menu. upper right side.

Step 4: Select manage Accounts.

Step 5: Now, select Google.

Step 6: Uncheck Gmail.

Now, you will not get new email in this app.

#2. Remove gmail Account(Completely remove gmail account from App)

Follow Step 1 to 5 from above method and follow below steps

Step 1: Select More option from below screen.

Step 2: Select Remove Account.

Step 3: Again Click on remove account and click on ok.

You have successfully Sign out from gmail App

In yahoo mail, it is more easy to log out because there is "log out" icon when you tap your profilepic. Gmail has none when using phone.

This is not logging out. You are actually removing the Gmail account.
