HSTC is a safety feature. Why turn it off? HSTC is an advanced rider aid that helps maintain grip and stability by reducing engine power and controlling torque when the rear wheel spins. This helps prevent the rear tires from slipping, especially on wet or slippery roads. It is only advisable to turn it off when doing off-road riding like dirt bike.
