Η Διώρυγα Της Κορίνθου, η διώρυγα η οποία ενώνει τον Σαρωνικό με τον Κορινθιακό κόλπο, στη θέση του Ισθμού της Κορίνθου, λίγο ανατολικότερα από την πόλη της Κορίνθου. Κατασκευάστηκε μεταξύ των ετών 1880-1893, έργο του Έλληνα μηχανικού Πέτρου Πρωτοπαπαδάκη. Η κατασκευή της είναι αποτέλεσμα της αναπτυξιακής πολιτικής του πρωθυπουργού Χαρίλαου Τρικούπη, ο οποίος με την κατασκευή μεγάλων έργων υποδομής στόχευε στη δημιουργία ενός σύγχρονου και οικονομικά ανεπτυγμένου κράτους.

Στη σύγχρονη εποχή ο ρόλος της διώρυγας στην Ελληνική οικονομία και ναυτιλία είναι περιορισμένος καθώς τα περισσότερα εμπορικά πλοία δεν μπορούν να τη διασχίσουν. Το μέγιστο πλάτος διέλευσης είναι περίπου 22,5 μέτρα που αντιστοιχεί μόνο σε πλοία τύπου handysize. Επίσης τα τέλη διέλευσης είναι ιδιαίτερα υψηλά, κάτι που λειτουργεί ως αποτρεπτικός παράγοντας χρήσης για τα μικρότερα σκάφη.

The Corinth Canal (the teeth of Artemis) the canal which joins the Saronic with the Gulf of Corinth, at the location of the Isthmus of Corinth, a little east of the city of Corinth. It was built between the years 1880-1893, the work of the Greek engineer Petros Protopapadakis. Its construction is the result of the development policy of Prime Minister Harilaos Trikoupis, who, with the construction of large infrastructure projects, aimed to create a modern and economically developed state.

In modern times, the role of the canal in the Greek economy and shipping is limited as most commercial ships cannot cross it. The maximum passage width is approximately 22.5 meters which corresponds only to handysize vessels. Also, transit fees are particularly high, which acts as a disincentive for smaller vessels to use.

Incredible what they were able to do at that time period. Maybe the canal is not of economic value anymore but it's still a great place to fly a drone
