After 51 years, 'The Price Is Right' is headed to a new studio for Season 52

After 51 years of calling Television City home, the show is spinning the 'Big Wheel' east, into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility at Haven Studios in Glendale, Calif.

I enjoyed the final price is right from television city. It's been 51 years for TPIR at the Bob Barker studio (aka)studio 33. Now next season will be at a new TV Studio in Glendale CA. Thanks for the memories CBS Television City.

Studio audience is so small now. Wouldn't be surprised if TPIR was scaled back to a day or two per week or only specials. Bob Barker still being alive may be the main reason it's still on the air.

Sometime in the 80's (yes I am that old) I was in LA with my wife; she had a work conference for 3-4 days and I got to play tourist. We had lots of fun and one day we were on the way to see a taping of TPIR. We had to leave our motel several blocks away to be there very early, if I recall correctly. I was stopping at a red light in our rental car and the next thing I realized, a local a**h**e had hit the back end of the rental and we were done. No one was hurt, except I was SO disappointed to miss my once chance to play Plinko!!

I agree with the comment stated below re: “The Price Is Right” probably shouldn’t have moved, what was the reason for this? 🤷‍♀️The place had tremendous memories & maybe they really should have left well enough alone & stayed put. Whose decision was this in the 1st place?

Watched Price is Right a lot growing up and something about Bob Barker I liked perhaps it was the way he acted and talked while on stage.
Once the original cast members that I know left the show cause they retired. When the new cast members took over it just lost spark for me so I don't watch anymore.
I prefer remember it in my mind with the old cast members that had that spark to get me to watch in the first place.

Hate to break the news anytime you move or change anything on the set of the price is right is BAD LUCK… it’s the Bob Barker’s curse, so much luck going another year😮If it’s not broken don’t fix it😢
