The virtual live performance Bagaljundi by Bindhumalini & Vasu Dixit as part of the series Homemade Lemonades happened on Sunday May 10th, 2020. The versatility of Bindhumalini & Vasu in their melodious voice brought to viewers, poems and songs of Amir Khusrau, original compositions by Vasu Dixit.

BINDHUMALINI NARAYANASWAMY is a National Award Winning singer, composer, who pursued training in both Carnatic and Hindustani classical forms , constantly strives to explore avenues outside of her strict classical roots to other forms and traditions in search of the pure soul stirring power that music has. This has given form to a more easy yet confident personal style for her as a performer.

VASU DIXIT'S open-throated voice is a free-spirited celebration of life, whether he sings with his band Vasu Dixit Collective, Swarathma or on his own. A composer, musician and filmmaker in equal measure his craft brings many nuances of art into one space.

The series Homemade Lemonades came out as a need for keeping people connected in times of Lock down by holding LIVE sessions on Instagram and Facebook and workshops on Zoom on themes ranging from music, art, games, mental health, kabaad se jugaad, healthy food, healthy living, reading, to storytelling, writing, clowning, interplay, urban gardening and so much more.
