I feel like it’s noise rejection is even better than the shure sm7b which I also have. It pretty much eliminates all sound from the sides and back. This also applies to the fifine k688

You can get the a6v and do the gain 35 percent it will be rly nice dynamic mic bcs im next to from my A/C but i dont hear the sound of the A/C and save your 25 bucks

Dynamic mics don't reduce background noise. Polar patterns affect how loud the noise is in a certain radius. A pattern can't distinguish between types of noise, only sound pressure, you talk into the front of the cardioid pattern and point the back (weakest) part towards the source of offending noise, as well as increase the distance from the source of noise.

You combine that with getting the mic close to you, and using only as much gain as you need for usable audio.

Don’t recommend this mic for vocals, it’s sounds okayish when plugging via XLR, but when you get loud and use built in audio interface (via USB) it’s awful, the audio distorts and clips even at low gain

You can get a fiifine mic for 54$ and it comes with a boom arm and pop filter the mic quality is pretty solid I got it but I’d suggest getting that then this if you have the space for it

I personally bought one as my mic broke and I have to say it is a downgrade from my blue yeti. It is great for those who don’t want super crisp audio and don’t care for customizability, but in my experience the microphone didn’t sound so great and the noise suppression didn’t do much.
