Here’s wishing all Singaporeans a Happy National Day! Celebrate the nation’s 57th birthday with this rendition of ‘We Will Get There’, performed by our Cabin Crew Music Society and Performing Arts Circle members.

Before we move back to Tokyo last December, we visited a cafe named “Singapore Coffee” at Raffles Hotel, where we met a wonderful female staff. We were so much impressed her beautiful smile and attentive service. We became very happy when we met her. On the very day of our leaving for Tokyo, we visited the place but unfortunately she was not there. We heard from one of the staff at the café that her name was Henny, a Singapore Airline cabin attendant and that she would be back to the sky again soon. During the pandemic period, most staff were shifted to other jobs. We understood the reason why her service was outstanding. We would be more than happy if we have a chance to see her in the sky someday. We love Singapore.

Always a delight when I fly with SIA. Turned abit emo during my home visit trip back to Sg after 2.5 years overseas. Seeing the familiar uniform of the stewardesses and the accent when they speak, I felt closer to home.
Especially when we touched down at ChAngi, the familiar announcement of “for all Singaporeans, welcome home’.
