A Socially Distant Historicon Weekend Recap

We all know why Historicon 2020 had to be cancelled this year--along with almost every other gaming convention around the world. It's been a tough year, but that doesn't mean wargamers and clubs aren't still finding ways to play. In this weekend recap, we'll share some awesome wargames from around the world that were happening on Historicon weekend!

Another reason we miss conventions this summer is because those shows are great opportunities to shop for new products and find flea market deals. To help lighten your wallet, we reached out to three great vendors to offer you limited time discounts this week only! All sales end Saturday, July 18th, 2020.

Our group went online with our games using a combination of Roll20 and Tabletop Simulator. An aspect of going digital is that the entry point for trying a new period is now negligible. Our group had been playing a good bit of To The Strongest on Roll20 and had an interest in ECW, so it was trivial for us to give that period a try - I just created some ECW armies, bought the To The Strongest ECW rules and we were off for a great game.

Very keen and curious for the run down on how Oathmark played out.
I have a neglected collection of 15mm medieval fantasy figs, and have been looking for a decent set of medium/large scale rules to get them back into action.
