1. INVEST IN A POOL COVER
2. TRIM BACK OR CUT DOWN TREES.
3. INVEST IN A SKIMMER

I would definitely invest in some pool covers! 😬

There's a leaf net cover you can put on top of the pool for when it's not in use during the week. You can easily remove it when you want to go for a swim.

Umm leaf vac ! Then hit it with the regular vac to skimmer basket, check chems . Empty pump basket . Add what’s needed & go !

As a pool guy, i can't stand pools surrounded by trees. They're nightmares

You know they make nets that prevent kids from falling in the pool. I believe on the commercial they show an elephant standing on it without breaking through. My mother had an inground pool on the farm they had and the horses would periodically get out and I can tell you that that net although not a solar cover that would make the water warmer it will hold two fully grown horses standing over 16 hands each. She would keep it on because there were lots of trees around the house & pool. The cover would keep all of the debris out of the pool. She would just run a leaf blower over it before she opened it up when anyone wanted to swim. (Anyone living on a farm understands why there's always trees around the house. Old farmhouses typically do not have central air/heat and that shade keeps the house cool in the summer. And it also keeps the wood pile from getting too wet during the rain or covered in too much snow since heating is done with a wood stove)

Been a pooltech/cleaner for about 4 years now and all of it mostly comes down to the landscaping around pools and the weather that messes them up bad. I have plenty of pools during the week i spend 35 plus minutes at cause they look similar to this mess of a monster pool!

They build electric covers they roll right out. Back when I was about 15 I helped a friend build pool covers that you push your button and then slide back lift up and make a shade cover on each side of the pool aluminum frame with fiberglass I've never seen one after I quit working for him they were awesome

They need to replace the landscaping that drops all the leaves. We did that with our pool. Now the pool sweep easily keeps up with the minimal debris. So much nicer.

As a pool tech I’d hate this pool😂😂 have to dump my hammer head a million times

Been in the pool industry for 24 years, that's a nightmare pool. That pool needs a Hammerhead to make short work of it

Riptide is a game changer! That pool would be 100% vacuumed in 15 min

It's called a leaf eater. U use with a pole & Ur h2o hose. It has a net that catches the leaves that r blown up into it. Not only easier, but a whole lot quicker

What's really DUMB is having the jungle surrounding the pool! Clean that up first!

1- Remove any tree limbs that go over the pool or patio.

2- Get a couple of devices called PoolSkim or anything similar to it. It attaches to the pool return eyeballs.

3- Get an automatic pool cleaner and an in-line leaf basket that connects to the vacuum line.

My process for this would be

- Empty skimmers (makes room for more debris to get sucked in while doing rest of the cleaning)
- Brush everything (pushes anything on the wall or floor more towards the middle. Some debris from top will start sinking or sucked in by skimmer)
- If needed - backwash (or skip this step if not needed)
- Check chems (gives time for any debris to settle)
- add chems if on hand or go get them
- go get vacuum and start vacuuming

So first you need a landscaper way before a pool cleaner!!
Lol
Also use a leaf bagger. Water tech makes a cordless one but the handy leaf master has better pressure. Or get a guy that own a rip tide to get them all out. That pool is not even usable!!
Also lower water level and run several full skim cycles per day. They make a return side leaf bagger as well which could help. I would not have that pool on service like it stands though.

Few options available
1 turn it into a natural pool or pond
2 get a pool cover
3 remove the canopy tree
4 pay for cleaning service every week

I clean my pool daily. Some people start with coffee, I start with a net and my pool. Just relaxes me.
