I switched to drive for Uber

I want to drive for Uber for a few weeks to comparison with Lyft.

Uber keeps me busier in Boston than Lyft. But Lyft does have better bonus lately.

I had no idea Uber-Boston guy rents his vehicles. So all these videos of his are him renting a vehicle? And this current rental is from Lyft but you can use it on Uber?

My chief complaint with Uber currently is that the Quest bonus has been cut in half over what it was the previous month or so.

In the Tampa, FL market, lyft pay offers are 20-30% less than uber for similar time/miles. On the rare occasions that you might be able to "stack" multiple lyft bonuses ("turbo, bonus hour, etc) that just gets you back to approximately the same ballpark as uber base pay.

These Lyft challenges dont even look all that great, having to grind 50+ rides for extra $1 per ride is nothing special, lot of work for crumbs. During busier times Lyft pays much lower than Uber in my market, Uber its more money even if you get the $1-$2 per ride extra for Lyft challenge, you also have to worry having to complete so many rides, not worth it. Im not saying Uber is great, but its much better out of the 2 evils.
