Can someone explain to me why furries get so much hate? All we do is either draw or dress up as our fursonas (And yes, the “wired” things do happen sometimes a conventions, but it’s not even close to what actually happens there. It’s just a place to talk and hangout with people that like the same things as us)

⚠️ NOT HATE ⚠️

Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the color green. Grasses are monocotyledon herbaceous plants.

The grasses include the "grass" of the family Poaceae. This family is also called Gramineae. The family also include some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae).[1] These three families are not closely related but all of them belong to clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style.

The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others.

Many grasses are short, but some grasses can grow tall, such as bamboo. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places and make grasslands, including areas which are very arid or cold. There are several other plants that look similar to grass and are referred to as such, but are not members of the grass family. These plants include rushes, reeds, papyrus and water chestnut. Seagrass is a monocot in the order Alismatales.

Grasses are an important food for many animals, such as deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows.[2] This is a part of why the plants are successful. Without grass, soil may wash away into rivers (erosion).

Schwerer Gustav (English: Heavy Gustav) was a German 80-centimetre (31.5 in) railway gun. It was developed in the late 1930s by Krupp in Rügenwalde as siege artillery for the explicit purpose of destroying the main forts of the French Maginot Line, the strongest fortifications in existence at the time. The fully assembled gun weighed nearly 1, 350 tonnes (1, 490 short tons), and could fire shells weighing 7 t (7.7 short tons) to a range of 47 km (29 mi).

The Panzer I was a light tank/tankette produced in Nazi Germany in the 1930s. Its name is short for Panzerkampfwagen I (German for "armored fighting vehicle mark I"), abbreviated as PzKpfw I. The tank's official German ordnance inventory designation was Sd.Kfz. 101 ("special purpose vehicle 101").[2]Design of the Panzer I began in 1932 and mass production began in 1934. Intended only as a training tank to introduce the concept of armored warfare to the German Army, the Panzer I saw combat in Spain during the Spanish Civil War, in Poland, France, the Soviet Union and North Africa during the Second World War, and in China during the Second Sino-Japanese War. Experiences with the Panzer I during the Spanish Civil War helped shape the German Panzerwaffe's invasion of Poland in 1939 and France in 1940. By 1941, the Panzer I chassis design was used as the basis of tank destroyers and assault guns. There were attempts to upgrade the Panzer I throughout its service history, including by foreign nations, to extend the design's lifespan. It continued to serve in the Spanish Armed Forces until 1954.

The Panzer I's performance in armored combat was limited by its thin armour and light armament of two machine guns, which were never intended for use against armoured targets, rather being ideal for infantry suppression, in line with inter-war doctrine. As a design intended for training, the Panzer I was less capable than some other contemporary light tank designs, such as the Soviet T-26, although it was still relatively advanced compared to older designs, such as the Renault FT, still in service in several nations, and others. Although lacking in armoured combat as a tank, it formed a large part of Germany's mechanized forces and was used in all major campaigns between September 1939 and December 1941, where it still performed much useful service against entrenched infantry and other "soft" targets, which were unable to respond even against thin armor, and who were highly vulnerable to machine gun fire. The small, vulnerable light tank, along with its somewhat more powerful successor the Panzer II, would soon be surpassed as a front-line armoured combat vehicle by more powerful German tanks, such as the Panzer III, and later the Panzer IV, Panzer V, and Panzer VI; nevertheless, the Panzer I's contribution to the early victories of Nazi Germany during World War II was significant. Later in the war, the turrets of many obsolete Panzer Is and Panzer IIs were repurposed as gun turrets on defensive fighting positions, [3] particularly on the Atlantic Wall.

When it was used, it performed great. The Soviet port city of Sevastapol was the only time it was used. The massive foritifcations there were some of the world's strongest, and the Germans had been battering against it for months. The main fortresses were destroyed with 5 shots of this massive railgun, and stormed within days.

The one question that I have is simply this: What exactly makes you think that a furry would ever behave that way in the first place, well I mean maybe just to play dead, but not dead like 'so stupid can't even stand up' or something, and neither would one, in this situation, try to go back to their point of origin, in this situation, they would introduce themselves and try to make small-talk. That is all I have to say for now

The legendary Finnish knife of the NKVD, also known as the Finnish knife Puukko, was originally used purely for household purposes. In 1935, a combat version of this knife was developed, which became an element of the equipment of the NKVD officers. Modern models of Finnish NKVD do not belong to melee weapons. Unlike their "progenitor", they can have a handle made of various materials - not only from horn or wood, but also from high-strength plastic. The guard became straighter, and the pommel became more rounded.

The development of sniper rifles can be traced back to the evolution of firearms throughout history. The concept of long-range precision shooting dates back to the early days of muskets and early rifles, but the modern sniper rifle as we know it today has undergone numerous advancements and refinements.

The initial transformation of rifles into dedicated sniper weapons began in the 18th century with the advent of rifling. Rifling introduced spiral grooves inside the barrel, which imparted spin to the bullet, improving accuracy and range. This allowed skilled marksmen to engage targets at extended distances with greater precision.

In the mid-19th century, the invention of the telescopic sight revolutionized the capabilities of the sniper. Telescopic sights enabled shooters to accurately aim and track targets from a distance. The British Army is credited with the first significant implementation of a telescopic sight on a rifle for military purposes, during the Crimean War in the 1850s.

Fast forward to World War I, and the role of snipers had become an integral part of modern warfare. This spurred the demand for more specialized sniper rifles that could deliver enhanced accuracy and reliability. Countries like Germany, Russia, and the United States began developing dedicated sniper rifles, often based on existing bolt-action rifle platforms.

During World War II, advancements in materials, manufacturing techniques, and optics led to further improvements in sniper rifles. The rifles became more durable, adaptable, and accurate over long distances. Bolt-action rifles, such as the German Karabiner 98k and the Soviet Mosin-Nagant, were commonly used by snipers during this period.

Post-World War II, sniper rifle technology continued to evolve with the introduction of semi-automatic and eventually fully automatic sniper rifles. These variants provided snipers with the ability to engage multiple targets rapidly and effectively. Improved materials like synthetic stocks, advanced optics, better ballistic ammunition, and integrated muzzle brakes further increased the accuracy and performance of sniper rifles in the 20th century.

Today, sniper rifles are highly sophisticated and specialized weapons. They incorporate advanced technologies such as laser rangefinders, adjustable stocks, muzzle compensators, and advanced optics with low-light and thermal imaging capabilities. Modern sniper rifles are designed to deliver exceptional accuracy and consistent performance over long distances, often exceeding a mile.

The creation and evolution of sniper rifles have been driven by the need for precision engagement and long-range capabilities, as well as advancements in firearm technologies and the requirements of military and law enforcement organizations.

The Tiger II was the successor to the Tiger I, combining the latter's thick armour with the armour sloping used on the Panther medium tank. The tank weighed almost 70 tonnes, and was protected by 100 to 185 mm (3.9 to 7.3 in) of armour to the front, It was armed with the long barrelled 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 anti-tank cannon. The chassis was also the basis for the Jagdtiger turretless Jagdpanzer anti-tank vehicle.
